Hello!
In last month's newsletter I shared a compilation picture of the 50+ founders I've been lucky enough to work with here at Scroobious. A few of them have gone on to close their rounds, one was accepted into MassChallenge, and two were recently accepted into Y Combinator. ALL of them are building inspiring businesses and ALL of them deserve the chance to speak with potential investors.
I'm so pleased to share that my vetted pitch deck framework, and the backbone of the Scroobious Pitch Learning Program, was published in Business Insider! Thank you to everyone who sent me kind words and helped spread this pitch education to others.
The interest from both founders and investors has been incredible, and it's all been from word of mouth or seeing me speak at an event! I've also got a fantastic CTO ready to join full-time and I CANNOT WAIT to formally introduce him.
We are now raising a pre-seed round to hire our CTO, turn our prototype into a scalable MVP, and keep this train moving at high speed. We've got a ton of interest and momentum, including early Angel commitments. Please reply to this email if you have any interest in participating in the round and I will send you my pitch video and schedule a time to chat.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for helping us. I appreciate you.
Allison Byers, Founder & CEO
Each newsletter features the perspective of one of our members. Most are currently raising and I encourage you to reach out to them.
Today I'd like to introduce you to Robyn Parets, the founder & CEO of Pretzel Kids. Robyn is in my female fellow cohort at The Capital Network and I am so grateful to them for bringing us together! Pretzel Kids' online delivery of curriculum-based children's yoga classes couldn't be timelier. Incorporating movement and mindfulness is essential in this anxious time and her business is exploding right now!
