A PiP Full account comes with three points of personalized feedback from a trained reviewer who understands the investor mindset. After completing the content modules, you can submit a draft deck for review and receive comprehensive written comments full of actionable guidance. Once you incorporate the feedback you'd like, you can submit a draft deck a second time for another round of written feedback. At this point, you're ready to work through the pitch presentation modules, and when you want to practice the whole shebang you can book an hour 1:1 zoom session with a human reviewer who understands your founder journey and how to communicate with investors.
Founders who subscribe to the Medium and Full plans will be eligible for listing on the investor portal. This ensures founders we display to investors have worked with our Pitch it Plan for consistency in pitch quality and narrative. Your pitch will not be listed without your permission and you will be able to edit and/or remove your listing at any time.
We believe all founders should have access to the feedback, resources, and community needed to help them successfully fundraise. These shouldn't be restricted to those who can participate in accelerators or who can pay $5K+ for a pitch coach. Our platform enables and empowers you to create compelling pitch material through on-demand lessons and templates that we are constantly enhancing based on customer needs and requests. For those on the Full plan, two of the three pieces of personalized feedback are written and delivered asynchronously with only the 1:1 zoom session being a synchronous event. Our platform is built to scale and provide high-quality help to many founders while keeping the price as low as possible.
We bring our community two to four special events per month. These may include legal lunch and learns where you can interact with a lawyer in a relaxed setting, industry expert-led workshops with tactical guidance on particular topics, pitch practice breakfasts with fund managers, and more.
Founders who have engaged with the PiP program (Medium and Full members) are eligible to have their pitch material listed. This ensures founders have access to our comprehensive guidance and have put in the work to create a clear and compelling pitch narrative.
No, we are a discovery platform that encourages contact between diverse startup founders and investors looking to connect with them. Once initial contact has been established, potential subsequent investment transactions take place directly between you and the entrepreneur outside of our web app. We can suggest resources to help you create investment vehicles such as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) if that is of interest. Scroobious does not verify information on the site and you are responsible for conducting your own diligence.
Founders are guided by our Pitch it Plan™ framework for building a core, high-level, 5-minute pitch. You can expect a compelling presentation walking you through the problem, solution, business model, market size, competition, why now, go to market, team, and contact information. These pitches are prepared for the purpose of providing limited confidential information and do not purport to include all of the information necessary to evaluate an investment.
We take regulations seriously and advise all of our founders not to include their fundraising ask unless they are certain the receiving party is accredited to make investments in private companies. Our platform does not constitute an offer to sell securities, so we leave "the ask" out of pitch material in an abundance of caution. We do provide fundraising stage and range to ensure you can see relevant opportunities.
