General FAQs

 

  • How are vendors added to Scroobious?

    Vendors must meet these requirements and apply to list their business on Scroobious:

    • Be able to provide basic company details, including your company name, description, and website.
    • Submit an intro video.
    • Be nominated by a Scroobious community member, or be able to provide at least one reference from a client that can be verified and share a review.
    • Within reason, be responsive to messages received from our community members.

  • How does Scroobious vet vendors?

    The Scroobious team reviews each vendor profile and community review before they are published on the marketplace. While we cannot verify all individual claims made, we take baseline steps to verify to the best of our ability that people are who they say they are, and that published profiles and reviews meet the standards outlined in our content guidelines.

  • How do vendors receive ratings and reviews?

    Community-driven recommendations are the core of our marketplace. Vendor ratings and reviews are submitted by founders, investors, and other trusted members of the Scroobious community.

    All reviews are moderated by the Scroobious team in accordance with our content guidelines.

  • What is an "Extended Community Review?"

    Extended community reviews are reviews from trusted members of the Scroobious community who may not have an account on the Scroobious platform. These reviews are vetted by the Scroobious team for quality, relevance, and overall utility for our community.

  • How do I report an issue or concern?

For Community Members

 

  • Do I need to pay Scroobious to engage with a vendor on the marketplace?

    No! As a Scroobious community member, access to our vendor marketplace and the ability to connect with any of our vendors is included in your subscription benefits, and at no extra charge.

  • I have an amazing vendor I'd like to nominate! How can I share their info?

    Great! Fill out this form to share your favorite service providers.

 

For Vendors

 

  • How much does it cost to list my business with Scroobious?

    We're offering access to our beta program at no charge while we chip away at improvements. It's a work in progress and we'd love to hear your feedback along the way!

    So what does that mean? Your vendor listing on Scroobious is free until March 1, 2025.

    We'll reach out to you in January with details on pricing and you can decide if you'd like to stay with us.

  • What are the requirements to list my business as a vendor on Scroobious?

    In order to list on the Scroobious Vendor Marketplace, you must meet these requirements:

    • Be able to provide basic company details, including your company name, description, and website.
    • Submit an intro video.
    • Be nominated by a Scroobious community member, or be able to provide at least one reference from a client that can be verified and share a review.

  • How do I sign up?

    1. Fill out this form to get started. We'll collect some basic information about your business, including a brief intro video so our community can get to know you, the human behind the business!
    2. Our team will work with you to make sure your profile is in tip-top shape.
    3. We'll celebrate our marketplace launch together come October... More details to come!

  • What will I need to complete my profile?

    You'll need:

    • 📝 Basic details about your business (e.g. name, website, about us)
    • 📹 A brief intro video (don't worry, we'll guide you on this!)
    • 💌 A reference from a previous client who can share a brief note for our community on their experience working with you. A reference by a Scroobious community member is ideal, but not required.
